Amelia Gwynne, jewelry designer and metalsmith, specializes in classic and contemporary jewelry creations. Amelia has been designing and making jewelry for over fifteen years having studied ancient and traditional jewelry making techniques in New York City and Connecticut. Using precise methods of granulation, chain making and cloisonné enameling based on timeless Etruscan, Byzantine and Greek techniques, her beautiful designs consist of 22 karat gold or fine silver.

Amelia's designs are enhanced with the highest quality gemstones available. Every precious and semi-precious gemstone is carefully selected to complement and enhance each specific design in terms of color, shape and integrity. Each piece is personally handmade by Amelia resulting in custom, one-of-a-kind creations. Her exquisite jewelry designs exhibit the highest standards of artistry, precision and attention to detail.

All 22K gold jewelry you see at Amelia Gwynne Jewelry Design is carefully alloyed in Amelia's studio. And, all of her silver pieces are .999 fine silver. Clasps and earwires, which she also expertly handcrafts, are made of either 18K gold or sterling silver. A very small number of findings and earring studs are manufactured elsewhere.
